On October 2008 we were in Anjuna beach, Goa. We decided to go to this place as it seemed quite good. Prices were quite expensive but we thought: "What the hell, this place seems good quality". We ordered some drinks and food, but we were not happy with the flavour of one of the juices and one of the dishes we ordered (fish) was full bones. The moment we wanted to change such products, the owner of the restaurant started speaking very rude to me, when I asked him to please lower his voice and not be rude, he threatened me in an incredibly hostile manner. He came to me violently and throw a bunch of chairs apart as in a fighting instance (at some point I thought the guy was going to hit me). He was also shouting that if I don’t pay the bill he would kick us out of the his bar. My girlfriend was very scared and so we decided to pay and leave as soon as possible. This was a disturbing experience and we felt in danger. I must add that I have been living, working and travelling in India for 1 full year and this was the worst thing that has happened to me. Indians are mostly very peaceful and nice people... later we realized the owner of Shore Bar was British. As for my recent experience, I strongly advise on going to Shore Bar

Hello, I am looking for some help in finding a nice place to stay preferably on a beach but close to the busy / party areas so i dont have to travel as much when partying... I hear that Anjuna is a good place to find party people to hang out with since i am traveling alone. Thank you in advance for any time and consideration you give this letter, all the best
