I have travelled at large in India & a few places in abroad. Durgapur is a nice city to live in with a potential to grow further.My father joined Durgapur Steel Plant in early 1956. i am worried about the change i find in the town since the last 3-4 years. new kids (many from outside the town here for studying) & other people are changing the culture there. i find young couples at big bazaar talking in english, & telling their kids to "come here" & "sit there". how funny & how alarming !! we who have been born & brought up in durgapur ...more

I was brought up in durgapur . i lived there from 1993-1999.its a wonderful and well planned and well designed city...i love it but i left it in 1999 and shifted to siliguri.. i used to study in st.michael's school durgapur. i miss it a lot and miss the city

Yes, i also a fellow born up,brought up in Durgapur. I live 6yrs in steel city township nd enjoyed every moment dr. It is totally different and i want 2 stay here g my whole life.ifferent,and i love it.

i love steel city durgapur,i love my school a-zone mp ,now i am in hyderabad ,but always miss km park,troika park,inox multiplex,city centre,shoping malls,and steel city very much always,.............i love durgapur always

I love my birthplace, I born there, I grow there...and a situation came when I had to leave Durgapur....Now I am in Delhi but I miss Durgapur...I can not forget the Rainy days that I spent there..I can not forget the foggy winters...when I used to go to school....I can not forget the trees that covered every roads..I really miss the garden of my house..I miss the durgapuja of that ...more
