The climatic conditions of the place can be classified as a tropical type and the place experiences three main seasons. They are summer, monsoon and winter season. Summers are generally hot and the humidity is also high due to the proximity of the ocean. Monsoons are heavy and prolonged in this part of the country and it might be difficult to travel to the place during this period. High sea waves are common during the monsoon season. Winters are cool and day temperatures are never harsh. This is the peak tourist season.
