Set around 10km from Dharamsala, on the banks of Bindu Saras is the ashram of Chinmaya Tapovan, well known for its spiritual classes and discourses. Visitors can reach the ashram by bus or taxi.
Interested tourists can take a short course on Gita. The mammoth statue of Lord Hanuman at the entrance is a major attraction. Besides, the ashram has a Ram temple, a meditation hall and a health and recreation centre.
Visitors can also explore the book shops or just enjoy the tranquility of nature that is abundant at the ashram.
