Best Season / Best time to visit Delhi

Delhi presents a high variation between the summers and winters climates. Best season to visit Delhi is from August to March.
  • Winters (December to February) are very chill, with temperature dropping down to 1°C. January is foggy with heavy fogs disrupting traffics. This period is ideal for tourism in Delhi.
  • Summers (March to June) are scorching with temperature rises to 47°C. Typically tourists avoid visting Delhi during the hot months of April to June.

July to September is good for city trips and short sightseeing trips. Keep a watch on road blocks due to rains.   • October - November is the best festive season in Delhi with the festivities of Deepavali. Grandeur illuminatiosn, fairs, fireworks and religious rituals make Deepavali a class apart celebration in Delhi.
