Temperature varies from 22 to 37°C. March is moderately hot all through the days and nights. It is the last month to explore outdoor attractions before the tiring summer days.

Weather & Best Season of Coimbatore

The temperature in Coimbatore is very moderate all through the year.

Summers (March to May) are bit hot touching about 40 °C but the light cool wind flows through the city, makes the season pleasant. Travelers for trade frequently use this season.
Monsoons (June to August) are strong here due to the presence of mountain pass. Tourists preferably avoid rainy days.
Winters (December to February) are not very cold with the minimum temperature rarely touches 15 °C and maximum never crossing 32 °C.

Best Season to visit Coimbatore is from September to March.

September to March is ideal for all kinds of tourist activities including sight seeing, shopping and spending leisure time in the beaches.
April and May are suitable for shopping and beach visits in the evenings.
June to August are good for short trips. Keep a watch on sudden rains.

Jun	Moderately Hot	Temperature varies from 25 to 37°C. The intermittent rains lower the temperature and give the required relief from hot climate.
Jul	Rainy	Temperature varies from 25 to 37°C. Heavy monsoon showers make the travel difficult during this month.
Aug	Moderately Hot	Temperature varies from 24 to 37°C. August climate is temperate and nature looks beautiful after the rains.
Sep	Moderately Hot	Temperature varies from 24 to 36°C. September is moderately hot and associated with intermittent showers.
Oct	Moderately Hot	Temperature varies from 24 to 35°C. October offers post monsoon showers and the atmosphere becomes humid and cool.
Nov	Moderately Hot	Temperature varies from 21 to 33°C. November is pleasant and the ambiance is dry. The days are warm and nights are cool.
Dec	Pleasant	Temperature varies from 18 to 32°C. December days and nights are pleasant. This month is perfectly ideal for all tourist activities.

January is the most attractive festival season in Coimbatore. Makara Pongal is an important festival in this region and is observed with much celebration and is coinciding with the second week of January.

It happened to see your posting only today in this website. Hope you are aware that Coimbatore is not located near any coastal region. We don't have any near by beaches. We agree we don;t have beaches nearby but apart from that we are really blessed with so many other things. If you can, please explore the outskirts of Coimbatore. You will really enjoy.

Sir, I am Manoharan, Martial Arts Master, I like coimbatore. Coimbatore is clean city, weather condition super, Sweetest Water. If compared with Chennai Coimbatore is very safety city with all Peoples. But Coimbatore cost of living city in Tamilnadu.
