The Kodiveri dam is located some 10 kms from Gobichettipalayam. This Kodiveri dam acquires water from Bhavanisagar dam which is mainly used for the purpose of irrigation. The Kodiveri dam irrigates merely 25000 hectares and moreover the dam is one of the excellent tourist spot.
