Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary, a noticeable wild life protection place in Chittorgarh, is located Bassi on the western boundary of Vindhyachal Ranges. The Sanctuary is placed itself at the backdrop of lush green forests of Vindhyachal ranges. The Sanctuary provides a natural habitat for varied species of wild life. This is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Orai dam and Bassi dam form part of this nice wildlife sanctuary. Antelopes, panther, mongoose and wild boar are some of animals inhabit the sanctuary. Many migratory birds are spotted in the seasons.

Bhainsrodgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, an exquisite habitat for wildlife animals, was declared as a sanctuary in 1983. The Sanctuary is located at the small picturesque village, situated at the convergence of Chambal and Bemany Rivers. The surroundings are very attractive with the whole village enclosed in an ancient fort.
This sanctuary house many varieties of birds and animals. Some of the wildlife animals seen here are wild boar, four horned Antelopes, deer, jackal, panther, fox, chinkara and hyena. Many migratory birds are also spotted during the season. Presently many wild life enthusiasts visit this sanctuary to have a close look at the wildlife in its natural habitat.

Chittorgarh fort with the legacy of glorious past and formidable present is the major attraction for tourists in Chittorgarh. The fort is established in a hillock of 300 feet high, spreading over a wide area of 700 acres of terrains. The fort is an architectural marvel, surviving three ravages in the history.
The impressive huge fort encloses the wonderful palaces of Maha Rani Padmini and Maharana Kumbha, Kirthi Stamba, Vijay Stamba and many ancient revered temples. Another attraction in the fort is the Fateh Prakash Mahal, which showcases some of the imposing sculptures.

Gaumukh Kund, literally Gomukh means the mouth of a Cow, is a beautiful cute reservoir located on the western side of the Chittorgarh Fort, the impressive attraction in Chittorgarh. The name Gomukh is derived from the natural beauty of a perennial cascade at its origin formed and flows out as the mouth of a cow or as a Gomukh. The water flows through a crack in the Rock and eventually fall into the Reservoir at Gomukh. The Reservoir is placed in a scenic location, attracting many tourists.
A nearby attraction is Rani Bindar tunnel which is lead into the subterranean chamber; the chamber is famous with the folk tale that Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh committed sati here in this chamber.

Kalika Mata Temple, a shrine dedicated to Kalika – a symbol of courage and power, has its origin in 8th century and is one of the oldest temple sin the Chittorgarh region. It is believed that the temple was constructed as a Sun temple originally in the 8th century by the King Bappa Rawal of Sisodya Dynasti. Later Maharana Hamir Singh congregated a Kalika Idol during some time in 14th century and started worshipping there. Hence the present temple got the name as Kalika Mata temple. This goddess is assumed to be the Patron Goddess of Chittorgarh.
The temple is credited with a marvelous architectural style, owes many superb carvings and sculptures. Devotees throng to this temple during the annual festival and it is believed that powerful goddess bring happiness in the life of devotees

Kirti Stambh, a 22 meter high seven storied tower known as Tower of Fame, is a Jain tower devoted to the the first Jain Teerthankar Adinath. The Kirti Stambh is structured in the Solanki architectural style interior to Chittorgarh fort. A sculpture of Adinath is installed in the second floor.
This Jain tower is very impressive and is a complex structural extravaganza with carvings, balconies and niches. Naked figures of various Jain teerthankars are carved on the tower of Fame. The seventh floor which is topmost offers a panoramic view of the whole Chittorgarh city. Many tourists are attracted towards this Stambh, simply to enjoy the marvel of foregone past.

Maha Sati, a sacred place used to cremate the Udaipur rulers, is located at a place Ahar in Chittorgarh. A main attraction in Maha Sati is a natural reservoir named Gangodbhawa Kund and mythological stories claim that a tributary of Ganges flows underground and emerges here as Ahar river in which this Kund is originated.
It is of belief that this reservoir contains very pure sacred water; considered as having equivalent purity and holiness of Ganges water. An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is also located nearby in Maha Sati. This place is unspoiled and slowly becomes an attractive tourist spot.

It is believed that it was in this palace the Sultan Alauddin Khilji view the reflection of the beautiful Rani Padmini in a mirror which was located in the main hall of palace. Overwhelmed by the eternal beauty, the Sultan decided to make Rani as his worthy wealth and eventually this desire led to the conquering of Chittorgarh.

This huge amazing tower with 9 floors is constructed in 37 m height. The tower is decorated impressively with Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
