Tulja Bhawani Temple is, an ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Turya Bhavani, is situated at the main entrance Ram Pol of the historical monument Chittorgah Fort. It is believed that this shrine was constructed between1535 and 1540 AD. Phatta's Memorial, memorial for the great 16 year old warrior who laid his life to defend the fort, is just nearby.
The temple architectural style is amazing, the sculptures and the paintings of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are visually pleasing and specimen of superb artistic talents of the age old Chittorgarh population. This is a famous attraction for those who visit Chittorgarh Fort. |
