Chail Attractions

Amidst of the dense forests of pine and deodars, Chail cricket ground has the spectacular distinction of the world’s highest ever cricket pitch, at an altitude of nearly 2,144 meters above the sea level. This cricket ground is well maintained and is constructed by the Maharaja of Patiala more than 200 years back in 1893. It is also used as a polo ground.

It is established in the cantonment area of army and hence it is as such is out of bounds to common tourists and locals. The place is very cool and picturesque.
