ANZAC Square War Memorial

, Brisbane

No photo available!
ANZAC Square, named after the Australian and New Zealand Army Cops, was built to commemorate the men and women who participated in the overseas armed service. Peacefully located in Adelaide Street, the memorial serves as a local point for the thoroughly patterned pathways, water pools, gardens and Bribie Island Pine and Bottle trees.

The Shine of Remembrance, Eternal Flame, Honour Rolls, Unit Plaques and a mosaic containing over 140,000 hand-cut Venetian glass enamels and soils from official World War II cemeteries are some of the major draws for the tourists.
