Radha Govinda Temple

, Bishnupur

No photo available!
Situated at the close vicinity of Lal Bandh, this temple is one of the tourist places in Bishnupur region. It was built by Malla King Krishna Singh in ek-ratna style in 1729 A.D. The temple has no sculptures but has attached stone wheels in the low platform, meant to be the chariot in which Krishna took Arjuna to the battle in Mahabharata. There lies a minute temple and a structure adjacent to the Radha Govinda temple, which was once used to form another temple but has been conserved from ruins.
