The Ananta Basudev temple is a Hindu temple in Bhubaneshwar. Built in the 13th century, it is dedicated to Lord Krishna along with Balarama and Subhadra. The history of the temple dates back to the period of Chandrika Devi, the daughter of Anangabhima III, who lived during the reign of the king Bhanudeva. Here tourists can sight numerous idols, the most attractive being the one of Subhadra holding the jewel pots and lotus and Lord Krishna holding a mace, chakra, lotus and a conch. The architecture of the temple is very similar to the Lingaraj temple but includes sculptures related to Lord Vishnu.
