The Sahyadri Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the state of Maharashtra. This Sanctuary houses the Jumbo size Indian Squirrel and many other animals and birds.

The sanctuary is spread over an area of 120 sq km on the Western Ghats in the Sahyadri Ranges. The area receives heavy monsoon rainfall. It is a very popular weekend getaway from nearby cities.

The valley is a fantastic combination of shrubs, magical herbs and plants of different varieties. The Sahyadri Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at a height of 2100 to 3800 feet.

I am willing to do a short trip at Bhimashankar from Mumbai. I wish to spent my 2/3 days at Bhimashakar alongwith the nature and God Shiva.
