The park is divided into two parts: Dry Rides and Wet Rides. Dry rides has lots of scary stuff, rides turning you upside down. There are few cool ones in this section that include Musical Fountain, Crazy car and Virtual Reality. Wonder La is a theme park which has pleasant surprises and is full of fun. It has thrill rides and the water is really refreshing and clean. The laser and the musical fountain are really fantastic.

Water Pendulum is a real thrill. The water rides have twisters, racers and vertical falls. Land rides are the Bamba and the bus, that gets raised. The roller coaster is a real thrill. The drive is, height of insanity. The hurricane game is whirly and high. The wonder splash leaves the visitors soaking wet. The entrance fee charged is about Rs 480-540.

Guys Just wanna warm all of you who want to go to wonderla there is a raquet going on. Me and family went to wonderla and we kept our things in the locker there and when we reached back home. Some of our credit and debit cards were missing and when we contacted the banks we were told they have been used to the max. They had been emptied completely. Now people who have been there know they godreg keys which are impossible to duplicate. So, some in the mangment there is doing all this. I have files and FIR against them and soon you shall be hearing about in the news. JUST BE BEWARE GUYS THEY ARE THEIFS.

just go through todays newspaper, one person by name Rohit Tyagi of Acharya Patashala College near Peenya has been arrested. this is for your information.

articel in news paper:Bangalore: On Sunday, Sriraj (name changed) was part of a 10-member group which went to Wonder La amusement park on Mysore Road for a spot of fun and frolic. The group entered the amusement park around noon and took three lockers to keep their belongings.
Around 6 pm, Sriraj felt a bit cold after playing in the water and decided to pick up his stuff from the locker. He checked his mobile phone for missed calls and was shocked to see over 25 SMSes, all from ICICI Bank.
The first one alerted him that someone had swiped his credit card to the tune of Rs 58,750. The next one told him the bank had stalled some transactions. Sriraj alerted his friends about his missing credit card.
When they checked their wallets, his manager Jaiprakash (name changed) and another colleague also found their cards missing. Jaiprakash’s credit card had been used for a spend of Rs 76,000. In all, three cards had been used for purchases of over Rs 1.5 lakh. Thanks to the alert staff at a jewellery shop in a mall, Rohit Tyagi from Uttar Pradesh, studying in Acharya Patshala College near Peenya, was nabbed and taken to Ashoknagar police station where he revealed his entire operation.

WONDER LA ROBBERY

Alert manager helped nab thief

Bangalore: Three lockers were broken into at Wonder La, the amusement park off Mysore Road, using duplicate keys and credit cards stolen from them. When the victims contacted their respective banks, the authorities pleaded helplessness about the transactions that had already been carried out.
While Sriraj’s card was swiped in a jewellery shop around 4 pm, Jaiprakash’s was used in another jewellery shop at Garuda mall around 6 pm. The two immediately called the shops and requested them to scan CCTV footage.
Fortunately for them, the shop manager at Garuda mall smelled something fishy about a young customer buying jewellery worth over Rs 76,000 and asked for an identity card. The youth went out and returned with a driving licence in ten minutes. The manager, in the meantime, had been informed about the fraud and was asked to keep an eye on the youth on his return.
The licence was in the name of Jaiprakash from Ghaziabad and had the youth’s photo scanned on it. However, the shop manager detained him and informed the real Jaiprakash immediately.
Police arrived at the spot and took the youth, Rohit Tyagi of Uttar Pradesh, into custody. He was taken to Ashoknagar police station, where he revealed the entire operation.

HE STOLE MORE THAN 10 CARDS

Rohit Tyagi joined Acharya Patashala College near Peenya a couple of years ago. Police said he visited Wonder La quite often and hired lockers. He would then go out on some pretext and come to Malleswaram to get duplicate keys made. By evening, he would be back at the amusement park, return the original keys and go home.
During weekends, Tyagi visited the park armed with the duplicate keys. He would open other people’s lockers and decamp with credit cards kept in wallets there. Even before the theft was realized for the card to be blocked, Tyagi would have made full use of it.
Tyagi confessed he had stolen
more than 10 cards. Police also recovered a two-wheeler and are investigating whether it is a stolen vehicle.

MUCH ADO ABOUT FOOLPROOF LOCKS

On learning about the incident, Wonder La officials said the company which fixed the lockers had claimed that nobody could duplicate the keys. In the men’s room alone, there are more than 2,500 lockers.
This is not the first time a claim of foolproof locks has fallen flat. In the early ’90s, a motorcycle company had made a similar claim. However, their brand led the list of stolen vehicles. The bike had a single key for all purposes, including handle lock, petrol tank and other utitilities.
The company had also provided a helmet lock under the seat, which was fitted to the vehicle with a single screw. The thief used to watch out for vehicles parked in the same lot for more than a day and remove the helmet lock. He got duplicate keys made using that.

From Bangalore to Wonderla by bus is easy. Me my brother, my cousin and my mom went to Banshankari from Koramangala. From Banshankari took a bus to Mysore Road. From Mysore road we got bus comming from KR Market (Bus No:226) going towards Wonderla. From Wonderla Bus stop, we got free pick up bus to the park, which is about a KM away. We spend a wonderful time in the park. Wonderla is indeed Wonderlaaaaaaaa, a must visit place for all age group. In the evening around at 6.30, Wonderla free bus service left us at the main gate, from where KR Market bus is easily available. From KR Market we took bus to Koramangala, reached home around at 9. it was a great great experience for all of us.

Wonderla costs near about 480 on weekdays and 595 on weekends and holidays for adults.
