The Amboli Falls is a beautiful and marvelous tourist attraction. The thrilling water falls draw many tourists to Amboli every year. The water falls is in full glory during the rainy season which starts from June and lasts till October. The rains fill Amboli with mist.
The beautiful and beastly water fall is a thrill to watch. It gives relief to the tourists and the locals from the scorching summers. People take bath in the falls to cleanse away all the attacks of heat. It is a famous picnic spot.

The Madhavgad Fort is 4 times the size of Shaniwarwada in Pune. It is in a state of ruins in the present days. It is a memorial on the main road. The fort gives us an idea of the war that took place in the olden days. On one of the tombstone an inscription can be seen that ‘only one British soldier died in the battle.’

The Nangartas Falls is situated 10 km from Amboli. It is placed Sindhudurg district. The falls is well known for its fresh and pleasing environs.
The Nangartas Falls falls into an attractive and narrow ravine making deep and mysterious hell of a sound. This noise makes one aware that there is a fall just 10 ft from the road.
The falls is small but very challenging. A concrete bridge has been constructed over it so that tourists can get improved and securer sight of that ravine. The beauty of the falls holds the tourists and they watch with awe.

A small Shiva Temple is built in front of the cave where Hiranyakeshi Uppam the river originates. The temple has been built many years ago. There is a belief that the temple was built by a man who is supposed to be the manifestation of Shiva.
The temple is sacred and peaceful. This makes the whole place shrine and calm. The cave has seven ponds inside and sunlight reaches only the last pond. Devotees pile the temple in large numbers during Mahashivratri. The cave is completely dark inside and nobody tries to explore it.
