Travel within city
Ajmer is a historical city and also a Muslim pilgrimage site. The place has a good transport system that is constructed to cater to the tourists as well as the local population. Getting around the city is easy in Ajmer as most of the important places are located next to each other. Ajmer has a public transport system and also many autos which are available throughout the city. The nearest airport is at Jaipur and travelers are advised to book pre arranged taxis for pick from the airport.
